the shape of jazz to come

are you one of the cats...?

If so, we’ve good news and bad news.

The good news: on Monday Nov 17, Mr James Oldham and Mr James Endeacott are reactivating Impulse! – London’s most notorious - and let’s face it only - jazz night. It’s at The Social, 5 Little Portland Street, London W1. Time 7-11. Expect live music from Twelves Trio and some blistering horn from the likes of Griffin, Bird, Sonny, Cannonball, all the guys!

The bad news: it’s a one-off, so unless you come to this one, yhat’s it. You’re stuck in nowheresville forever. And who needs that right?

Come on, it’s going to be like Birdland ’47!!!
